Built from 1955 to 1974 the legendary Hammond B3 console organ has become the archetype of Organs. It is still widely used in Blues, RīnīB and Gospel music and can easily be identified by its four turned wooden legs (see the HammondWiki logo). It has two 61-note manuals and 25 pedals with the standard drawbar sets, presets, Selective Vibrato and percussion. Lacking internal amplification and speakers, it needs to be connected to a Leslie Tone Cabinet. The combination of a B3 and a vintage Leslie produces the famous Hammond sound.
